The KaosPilot curriculum and pedagogy is developed to qualify the student to a life as a creative entrepreneur, a value-based leader and a proactive learner in life. This is a holistic approach to education, where each student must learn to balance all three of these qualities in order to become a successful KaosPilot.
Throughout the program the students are encouraged to work creatively and be enterprising, while practicing a holistic approach to gaining knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and behavior that allows them to be both independent and reciprocal.
The ability to acquire competencies through reflection over practice, also called “action learning”, is therefore a central and necessary aspect to focus on.
The KaosPilot program is based on, and aimed at practical experience. The main purpose, therefore, is not just for the students to build up their own knowledge and competencies, but also their ability to convert these to action in the appropriate situations and contexts in order to master it.
With the aim of fulfilling the aforementioned goals, inspired by the schools beliefs and vision, the KaosPilot School bases its teachings on the following mastery-competence model:
- Vocational competence
- Relationship competence
- Change competence
- Action competence
- Meaning competence
