Kaospilot Designing and Facilitating Learning Spaces program are two masterclasses aimed at educators and trainers. In the program we explore experiential ways to define, design and deliver offline, online & hybrid learning to integrate and facilitate increased engagement, mindsets, attitudes, and competencies.

Content

PART 1 – THREE-DAY MASTERCLASS

In this first masterclass, you will be introduced and trained in experiential learning and teaching. You will also dive into the art of facilitation, curating learning processes, how to increase engagement and create safe learning spaces.
Intentionally working to improve your design facilitation skills can have a great impact on your ability to engage, inspire, and deliver your content to the learner and enabling them to reach their fullest potential.

Using Kaospilot methodology, you will be working hands-on with how to facilitate team-based learning in practice. Here, we will address the design, flow, sequence of tasks, effectiveness, and the use of resources. We will focus on communication patterns and address the appropriate levels of participation. You will also learn about group energy, momentum, and capability in the physical and psychological learning environment.
Participants will mainly be working and learning together in groups, offering peer-support, and sparring to keep learning and inspiring each other

Our engagement with Kaospilot’s Designing and Facilitating Learning Spaces training began in 2016 and has since grown into a cornerstone of staff and curriculum development in our department. At NTT we use the Kaospilot methodology to organize long-term training plans, so that we can visualize more clearly how to intervene and understand how to pursue the goals we set, going on to structure targeted pathways for the corporate population.

What we like most about the methodology is precisely the visualization, as it allows us to understand what training interventions/activities to organize and give us a way to have a fluid flow, with elements that land more or less deeply, depending on what we are interested in actually ‘staying’ with people.

More specifically, we apply the learning arch design and it’s methods such as SET: IDOART at the beginning of workshops (to share the day’s planning, figure out what the expectations are, dictate times, roles and rules) and at the end of the day, to ‘unveil’ how the learning arches work and how they can be applied to meetings and trainings and how they can follow up with their clients or the workshops they organize as a ‘clarification’ tool.

Approach
