Year 3

INTRODUCTION

After two years of working with and learning the tools and methods of the KaosPilots, primarily in relation to projects defined by the school and it’s partners, the third year is the time for the students to take charge of their individual focus for their education.

The third year at the KaosPilot program aims at helping you experiment in order to develop the personal and professional platform you desire for graduation. It is in reality about innovation and leadership; taking personal leadership for where you wish to go and defining the steps to get there.

In the fifth semester you will do an international internship, working with a company or organization that intrigues you and can offer insights into the type of work you may want to do later.

During the sixth semester you will end your education with a final exam project, judged on the basis of your ability to work with the four disciplines, project, process, business and leadership, of course taking into account what you have chosen as the focus of your final exam.

This is also a time where we wish to finish off giving our students the best requisites to enter the professional world after graduation, so you will get expert sparring for job seeking, how to begin creating your own company, or regardless of the direction you wish to take, just be clear on what your next step will be.

Additional Cornerstones

Projects
During their final year the students will carry out minimum 2 to 3 projects for clients, as well as develop and carry out personal projects. It is important that they are allowed to test own knowledge, skills and attitudes, as well as specialize according to individual interest. The projects can lead up to the final project or be a part of a planned development towards the final project. The projects are solved individually or in groups.

Personal Leadership and Mastery
The student is coached throughout the third year as well. Peer to peer coaching is encouraged. Assessment and further development with personal learning and self-development techniques in relation to personal leadership is furthered.

Meaning and social dynamics
Throughout the third year the students will continue their training in reflection over practice, as well as work with group dynamics, social processes, learning- and inter-personal relationships.
