BURNING LAND
As our world changes, it is our civic responsibility not only to question and challenge the way things are moving, but also to seize the opportunities presented.
Burning Land is a permanent settlement based on the ten principles of Burning Man. It is a multidimensional project; consisting of philosophical exploration, a replicable concept and a specific manifestation of the concept in question. We are currently looking for a piece of land, in the Western Cape of South Africa, to bring this dream to life.
By creating this prototype of what another world could look like, we’re peering into a desirable future, recreating the world to better suit our dreams.
Professionally, what are the most important things you have learned, as a result of carrying out this project?

Stronger focus over longer time scales.
Stronger bonds between work and play.
