New principal for Kaospilot
After 17 years as the head of Kaospilot, Christer Windeløv-Lidzélius has decided to resign. The search for a new principal is underway.
Students and staff on the Kaospilot program will have a new principal early next year. This is because Christer Windeløv-Lidzélius has decided to resign from his position. For the past 17 years, Christer has served the role of principal for the school, which was founded by Uffe Elbæk in 1991. But at the turn of next year he will be saying goodbye to Kaospilot.
“The board are working to set the framework for development of Kaospilot in the years to come, and during this process, Christer has decided to seek new challenges elsewhere,” says the chair of the board of Kaospilot, Dan Boyter.
He continues:
“Christer has been a powerhouse for the program over the past years, and he has helped put Kaospilot on the world map and strengthen its international profile. We owe him a huge debt of gratitude for his impressive work.”
To engage in his professorships
The outgoing principal will engage in his professorships on several international programs and resume his consultancy activities, in which he helps managers with strategy and change issues. He looks back on his many years at Kaospilot with gratitude.
“It’s been an amazing journey and a great privilege to be at the spearhead of such a distinguished institution, and to be part of its development to become an internationally respected player within management and entrepreneurship. I’d like to thank our students, our staff, and our cooperation partners, all of whom have been involved in the transformation we have undergone,” says Christer Windeløv-Lidzélius.
Defining a new profile
Work to find a new principal for Kaospilot is already underway. The board is also continuing work to define the direction and the brand that will characterise the Kaospilot of the future.
“We have a unique program, providing students with specialist skills within entrepreneurship and project management, and our graduates are recognised for their ability to manage very complex change projects that require creative and innovative solutions,” explains Dan Boyter, chair of the board.
“However, we’re well aware that the program has to constantly renew itself to maintain the strong profile that clearly distinguishes Kaospilot from international competitors. Therefore, we must always look closely at what we will offer in the future, and the type of leader this will call for. One aspect we want to strengthen is students’ ability to think commercially. This will be included with many other qualifications in the profile we’re looking for.”
The consultancy firm Ballisager has been hired to recruit the new leader. The board expects to be able to present a new principal during spring 2024.
