Program Overview
Experiences are everything. We connect and we meaningfully grow through the experiences that we share. Designing experiences is a critical leadership skill for the 21st century. As a leader you create the experiences that your co-workers, clients and customers have. The ability to sculpt these experiences to repeatably create meaningful outcomes is what this training is all about. Whether you are working with experience design in relation to end-users or employees, our holistic framework will enable you to create meaningful experiences. This training is aimed to help you create multiple layers of value in every experience you design. We will work with the 5E Model to speed you through the trial and error in your workshop or event experience planning and give you the language and confidence to deliver an outstanding experience every time. The Signature Kaospilot Experience Design program is a three-day course where you, together with a group of like-minded peers, enter a learning experience to learn how to design events, environments, products and services that transform emotions, thinking and behavior. This program provides you with a modern toolbox and the space to practice designing meaningful experiences that create value, engagement and transformation.
Content
During the three-day course you will be working with real-world challenges that you or your peers bring to the course. These challenges will be solved using the KAOSPILOT Experience Design method and the 5E Model, which is a simple framework for building holistic and meaningful experiences. All theories, models and principles are immediately translated into hands-on exercises to ensure practical understanding of everything you have learned.

🗣 Systemic Thinking to Reframe Assumptions – Learn to reframe the basic assumptions so that you can deliver truly innovative, unique designs that create ripples of positive change.
♥️ Toolbox based on meaning – Learn how to authentically connect with your users’ emotions through understand the 15 core meanings that give value to our lives and to our experiences.
✋ Rapidly Test and Learn from Feedback – Learn to get tangible feedback fast, test your assumptions and make your concept experience better as you work.
🌳 Design Leadership Strategies – Learn to engage yourself, your team, and your end-users in the experiences you design.

Approach
The unique KAOSPILOT approach is built around a rigorous training platform that dynamically combines practice, reflection, and theory. We will work with the 5E Model to speed you through the trial and error in your workshop or event experience planning and give you the language and confidence to deliver an outstanding experience every time. Building on 30+ years of Kaospilot learning experience design, we have trained over 6000 facilitators, designers, and leaders from over 52 countries.
Our approach stems from our unique philosophical standpoint, which is inherently interdisciplinary. It combines elements from both business and design schools, and draws upon project management, organizational development, lean entrepreneurship, interaction design and is grounded in Human Centered Design.

What is experience design?
Experience Design is a method for framing experiences with the aim to change the way people, ❤️feel, 🗣think and ✋🏼act. It is the process of creating meaningful experiences, products and services that engage the user and ultimately change their behavior.
Why is experience design important?
Experience is everything. What people experience can change the way they think, feel and act. As an experience designer you can drive engagement for online and offline experiences. You will enable people and relationships to grow. You will become more confident and effective as a facilitator and leader.
How do I become an experience designer?
We have created the Kaospilot Experience Design methodology to help you learn experience design. Our methodology has 3 steps, and will teach you to create meaningful experiences that drive engagement with your customers or employees. Creating a meaningful experience takes practice and knowledge. By attending our three-day course in Experience Design, you will learn the fundamental experience design principles – and models and get the skills to accelerate your career as an Experience Designer.
