Bliss W. Browne is Founder and President of Imagine Chicago, a non-profit organization devoted to cultivating hope and civic commitment, which has inspired a global movement of social innovation. Bliss is an Episcopal priest and a former senior banking executive. She was in the first class of undergraduate women at Yale, and has graduate degrees in theology and finance from Harvard Divinity School and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Bliss is recognized internationally as a keynote speaker and a creative, skilled designer and facilitator of generative community building projects and programs. Bliss has taught at the Kaospilots for 15 years and hosted 8 KP interns. Her greatest joy currently is exploring life with her five young granddaughters, two of whom (from Beijing) she has been homeschooling during this pandemic year. She lives in Florida.
