Dance for Love celebrates diversity through cultural events and actions. We are tired of a segregated society with growing racism. Dance For Love encourage our fellow citizens to take a stand and show the strength of diversity and community. Dance for Love is a dance manifestation in a public place. For two hours, we turn a public square into a dance floor, where everyone is welcome.

Dance For Love started in Stockholm, in 2010, and has since spread around Scandinavia. The day before the Swedish election, Sept. 13th 2014, Dance For Love will have a national day of action where thousands of people come together to dance in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Solna, and more cities are still about to join.

Professionally, what are the most important things you have learned, as a result of carrying out this project?

During the year I’ve worked in 4 projects and as a consultant to clients. One of my key learning’s from being a consultant is the value I can create for my clients such as Greenpeace, when training them in creative processes and facilitation. The training has transformed their internal creative processes.

What are the most important things that you have learned, about yourself, as a result of carrying out this project?

The different projects of my year have been focused on creating societal change through large-scale volunteer projects. I’ve learned the importance of value- and relationship based leadership. And how one as a leader can come to master strategic thinking, project management and facilitating the processes of turning volunteers into high performance teams.
