Your stay in Aarhus

Your stay in Aarhus

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Kaospilot School in Aarhus.

We would like to provide you with some practical information about getting to and from Aarhus, your stay here outside working hours and your time with us.

Aarhus is the second largest town in Denmark. Fortunately, in the city centre most things are within walking distance. The Kaospilot school is located at the waterfront, in the very creative community: Filmbyen. Many hotels, restaurants, stores and cafés are close to the school.

During your stay in Aarhus and being at the Kaospilot for a couple of days, we wish that you have a nice stay. So if you have any special wishes for a hotel room, dietary needs or a certain place you would like to visit while here, please let us know and we will try to help you out the best way possible.  We will list some different places to stay, dine and shop, for your choosing.

Going out

There are many different places to eat in Aarhus. Many of the hotels have their own restaurant but the city also offers a wide variety of foods and restaurants.

One of the more popular ones is the Aarhus Street Food, located right by the bus station.  If you are more for a regular choice there are plenty of cafés/restaurants along the canal. Godsbanen also offers a nice place to eat with low prices and a good vibe.  The staff at Kaospilot can also recommend other eating places, especially if you have something in particular in mind like, seafood or vegetarian, a good steak or something else.

While with us during working hours

We offer tea, coffee and water – as much as you could possibly drink, and some fruit and snack to get your day started.

We of course also serve lunch, but we do not have the capacity to make it ourselves.

In general we cater an ordinary lunch but should you have any dietary needs we will try and meet them the best to our ability, from what is offered from the caterers.

Should you have any questions regarding your stay in Aarhus, please feel free to contact your program director or the office.
