Here is some practical information about getting to and from Aarhus, your stay here outside working hours and your time with us.

Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark. Fortunately, in the city centre most things are within walking distance. Kaospilot is located at the waterfront, in the very creative community: Filmbyen. Many hotels, restaurants, stores and cafés are close to the school.

If you have any dietary requirement or a certain place you would like to visit while here, please let us know and we will try to help you out as much as possible.

Flying to Aarhus

You can fly into the following airports:

Aarhus Airport
Aarhus Airport is the closets airport to the City of Aarhus. From here, you can take the airport shuttle to Aarhus Central Station (approx. 45 min.). Taxi services are also available. Bus tickets cost approx. €15, and a taxi service costs approx. € 100.

Billund Airport
Billund Airport is not too far away from the City of Aarhus. Travel time from Billund Airport to the Aarhus Central Station is approx. 1 hour and 30 min. (bus nr. 912X). Tickets cost approx. € 20, and a taxi service costs approx. € 200.

Copenhagen Airport
Flying into Copenhagen Airport might be the cheapest way to get to Aarhus, however, it is also farthest away. It is a three-hour train ride from Copenhagen Airport to Aarhus Central Station. For more information on train rides and timetables, please go to www.dsb.dk. Bus services are also available from Copenhagen Airport to Aarhus Central Station. The duration is approx. 4-4,5 hours and a ticket costs approx. €20.

Getting to Aarhus by train
