Program Overview

This workshop and training explores the Kaospilot approach to transformational education design, methodology and frameworks for creating engaging learning journeys and experiences. This workshop allows for a very detailed and creative exploration of the learning journey new and existing programs or curriculum where the pursuit of skills, knowledge and attitude can be (re)packaged to increase the bandwidth for engagement, risk, creativity & innovation for staff and students

Content

Learning Outcomes

➡️ To build “THE TEAM” and shared understanding, commitment, ambition & ownership for (new) curriculum or programmes

➡️ Explore core Kaospilot methods & tools for designingexperimental and problem-based learning, feedback and authentic attitude, mindset and personal growth development

➡️ To co-create a shared vocabulary with the learning outcomes and the “attitudes & mindset”, the “hidden curriculum” and implement it as measurable competences and learning goals

➡️Create multiple “Pedagogical prototypoes”, A detailed and creative learning journey where the pursuit of skills, knowledge and attitudes is designed using the KAOSPILOT learning arch methodology

➡️New and shared ideas and practical methods for anchoring (setting, holding and landing) skills, knowledge & attitudes – weaving the hidden curriculum with your programs

➡️ Create a clear overview of the modules in a semester and co-create how to unfold the content so they interact and build on each other: “To Package the Pursuit of Knowledge”

➡️ A highly detailed “big picture” (3m long), by module, week and even day by day representation of the skills, knowledge and attitudes to be explored.

Approach

The unique KAOSPILOT approach is built around a rigorous training platform that dynamically combines practise, reflection and theory. You will be applying tools and theory, which you will learn about through practical exercises. Our approach enables you to acquire different mindsets to apply to your work. This includes experimentation, exploration and taking initiative.

You will have the opportunity to talk abuot your ideas for pedagogical and methodological change, but also practice and develop these. The programme will radically change your approach, help you grow as an individual and gain new perspectives.
