Shiseido talent program – Future leaders learners
Project challenge
Shiseido approached Kaospilot with a mission: to design a dynamic leadership development program for emerging young talent within the company. The goal was to accelerate participants’ career growth and prepare them for future leadership roles—both within Shiseido and beyond.
The program was envisioned as a transformative journey, helping individuals evolve personally and professionally to align with the company’s evolving needs. It was also acknowledged that this growth might inspire some participants to pursue opportunities outside the organization.
Shiseido emphasized that the program should primarily focus on personal development—cultivating core values and essential leadership skills. A secondary focus was placed on business acumen and practical application in real-world contexts.
Program Description
The program had the following focus areas:
- Personal values and leadership identity
- Skill development for modern leadership
- Business understanding and strategic application
- Design thinking and innovation tools
- Awareness of emerging trends shaping Shiseido’s future
Outcome:
- 20 emerging leaders completed an intensive 6-day training program
- Participants left with enhanced clarity, confidence, and capability to lead in a rapidly ch
