Meet Andreas Lange
Andreas Lange graduated as Kaospilot in 2002. Since then, he has built up 17 years of experience in the communications / advertising industry. He is former Head of Creative Content at Egmont. Co-founder & contact director at We Love People A/S. Cheif Advisor at Advice A/S and now Head of Branding and Design at DR – Danmarks Radio
Which team and when did you graduate?
Team 6 and I graduated in 2002.
What have you been doing since you graduated as a Kaospilot?
I’ve been working in the creative advertising and communications industry since I graduated. My way into the industry was through an event agency.
From 2005 to 2016 I was co-founder and partner in a new creative agency based in Copenhagen. The last couple of years has I been working as a director in a new busines united Egmont Denmark. And this year I started as Director of Design and Branding at DR.
What is important for you in your job?
Working together with passionate people. Continually developing my leadership though ambitious directions and soiled results. And keep focusing on optimizing organizational changes.
What major learnings would you point out from your experience that have shaped you as a leader?
Be open minded and curious. Be a good to listen. And remember that work has to be fun.
What is your biggest source for inspiration right now?
Books and podcast. I love listening to books and podcast when I’m in transit or running.
What would be an example of a learning or an experience from your time at Kaospilot that has been important to you?
One of the most important learnings from my time at KP is my process understanding and the value of focusing on creating simple and effective processes to achieve strong goals. Besides that a mindset around never be afraid to make mistakes. It’s the mistakes that sharpen your experience and create new knowledge.
What is a piece of advice that you would like to give future Kaospilot graduates
Always fall in love with your project. There’s always something new to learn and something you can be batter at. Steve Jobs said it perfect: “stay hungry stay foolish”
