Dear Kaospilot Alumni
I’d like to share some of the work we’ve been doing around the Kaospilot curriculum.
The world is evolving rapidly—perhaps even faster than many of us anticipated. As Kaospilots, we are wired for change; it’s part of who we are. But after 34 years, we now find ourselves at a critical crossroads. As we witness the challenges of our time, we must ask ourselves: What does the world need from us? What does it mean to be professional rebels committed to meaningful change in this moment?
As always, Kaospilot isn’t just about preparing students to meet the world—it’s about shaping it. Over the past two years, we’ve worked closely with students, alumni, and external practitioners to develop a curriculum that remains experimental, relevant, and equipped to provide the skills needed to navigate today and co-create the future.
The education remains a three-year journey centered on leadership and entrepreneurship, but we are sharpening our ambition to create an even more purposeful and values-driven education. One that actively engages with the systemic challenges of our time. While keeping our transformative and experience-based learning methods at the core, we now aim to develop agents of transformation—individuals capable of stewarding meaningful change, tackling complex societal transitions, and shaping resilient, adaptable futures. To support this journey, we are also prioritizing the creation of equitable learning spaces and emotional resilience, recognizing that navigating complexity requires not just intellectual, but also emotional agility and well-being.
But a curriculum is just a piece of paper unless it is alive, evolving, and deeply connected to people, communities, and long-term initiatives—not just short-term projects. Transformation often unfolds quietly, in the small shifts that shape our shared reality. At Kaospilot, we see education not just as a transfer of knowledge, but as a relational process—a continuous dialogue where we learn to meet the world differently, embracing adaptation, co-creation, and deep engagement with complexity.
One of the most exciting aspects of this renewed learning journey is our commitment to long-term value creation through sustained projects and strategic partnerships—what we call Living Labs. These labs will allow students to immerse themselves deeply, engage meaningfully, and collaborate continuously over extended periods. By linking projects and partnerships across semesters and even years, students will gain unparalleled opportunities to develop expertise, build lasting relationships, and contribute to real transformative change.
This is just the beginning, and we don’t want to take this journey alone. Your experiences and insights as alumni are essential to the growth of both the students and Kaospilot as a whole. That’s why we invite you to actively engage—whether by sparking meaningful dialogues, pioneering new partnerships, or mentoring students throughout their three-year journey. Your involvement is not just about inspiring current students; it strengthens our community and fuels the bold, transformative change our world so urgently needs.
More details will follow soon, and we’re excited to explore new possibilities with you.
Let’s continue shaping the future—together.
